The Sea Lover’s Trip

Home / Itineraries / The Sea Lover’s Trip

The Berwickshire Coast is a centre of adventure offering diverse activities which are enhanced by the natural surroundings and stunning clear waters. Hidden from land, why not visit the beautiful coral reef and colourful marine life at St Abbs, a top diving and snorkelling location, or visit the award-winning Coldingham Sands, the perfect location for surfing, swimming, and kayaking. There is something for all the family!

  • Day 1: Surfing

Venture out to Coldingham for a morning of surfing at an award-winning beach. If you are less experienced don’t worry, there are regular classes during the summer and weekend lessons from February to November, with St Vedas who will get you up in no time.

  • Day 2: Fishing

The many charter boats in Eyemouth make leisure fishing a breeze and with the Fishermans Mutual Association (FMA) shop just by the pontoon, you will be sure to have everything you need.

  • Day 3: Diving/ Snorkelling

Being the one of the World’s top diving destinations, there is no better place to go diving in Scotland. The colourful coral city, colonies of fish, sea life and clear water make it an exquisite experience or professional divers and snorkelers alike.

  • Day 4: Coast Exploration by Boat

End your adventure with a relaxing boat trip. Explore our cliffs and nature. Be sure to look out for the dolphins or minke whales as well as our resident seals in an out of the harbour.
