Congratulations to Eyemouth Community Council for winning a Silver Gilt award at the Beautiful Scotland Awards for their hard work in making Eyemouth more beautiful.
Beautiful Scotland is a long standing environmental organisation who support community groups aiming to improve or enhance the environment in their towns or communities under the three pillar, Horticultural achievement, environmental responsibility and community participation.
Fellow Scottish Borderers, Lauder in Bloom and Melrose in Bloom both received Gold for their efforts with Lauder in Bloom receiving the special prize of the Garden for Life Biodiversity Award in recognition of the groups work to generate pollinator friendly flower beds throughout the area.
