The Berwickshire Coast has been spotted in the new trailer for the highly anticipated Avengers film which was released during the American Superbowl. The trailer sees Guardians of the Galaxy character, Rocket, enter a building with a backdrop of some Berwickshire cliffs and creel pots.
In May 2017, St Abbs was closed to allow for filming to take place at a mock pub, The Cormorant and Tun created within the village. Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) were said to be filming at the location for the movie set to be released in April 2019. Filming has also taken place in Edinburgh, Glasgow and The Highlands.
