Your One Hour Tree Climbing Experience at Paxton House will take you high up into the trees, using new skills and knowledge we give you in our short Demonstration.

Our tree climbing experiences include expert guided instruction from two highly trained & experienced tree climbing outdoor instructors. Climbing at your own pace using and our special rope system, you can stop whenever you like to relax and check out the views, and all whilst knowing you are safe. Previously we have inspected the tree from every angle, including from right up in the top of it, to ensure your safety. Our equipment is high spec and is inspected regularly.

Our ONE HOUR EXPERIENCE gives you a great amount of time to learn the ropes and climb up into the tree tops, and if you are lucky, into our hammock!

You’ll be:

• Fitted with the correct safety harness and helmet
• Given a short demonstration
• Assigned to your climbing line rigged way up high.
• Guided and assisted as you begin climbing
• Coached at height and in the rare case you need a little extra help to come down, we will be there to help you.
• You may even get a chance to climb into our tree-top hammock!

On completion of our Risk Acknowledgement form (pdf) all climbers are fitted with a high quality helmet and harness. A briefing and short demonstration is given to teach the necessary techniques during which we require your best attention. Then we ask everyone to choose one of our installed climbing lines, we attach you with the latest locking karabiner, and you are good to go! Climbing is very much at your own speed, and we are always there to guide and assist should you need.
