Whether you’re a loyal local or just passing through on a caffeine-fuelled tour, you’ll find a warm welcome at Rialto in Eyemouth.
Owners Michael and Eilyn Howes-Quintero are passionate about sharing the first-class coffee and quality food that they craft at their family café, ensuring every visitor leaves with a full stomach and bucket list of new beans to explore.
Bristol’s Clifton Coffee provides the good stuff which Michael proudly pulls through the La Marzocco machine as silky expresso. There’s usually an under-the-counter stash of guest beans too: ask nicely and he’ll prepare his latest find for you in the Chemex. In summer, look out for refreshing fruity numbers available as cold brew.
Be sure to coincide your trip to this coastal gem with a lunchtime pit-stop as Eilyn’s bowls of zesty chermoula-topped tagine, fiery empanadas and a game-changing earl grey tea loaf are worth rerouting for.
