Pine Eco lodge is set in a peaceful woodland at Press Castle near the village of Coldingham and a short drive from Coldingham Beach renowned for its surfing and sands. We provide a self catering break in a beautiful, comfortable wooden cabin with marvellous views and abundant wildlife in a mature garden alongside a babbling burn in the Scottish Borders.
Accommodation and Facilities
Refurbished and architect designed the cabin has a king size wooden handmade bed with memory foam mattress overlooking the garden and the second bedroom has a 4ft Antique cast iron bed plus a single fold out chair bed.
The duvets are wool, bedlinen is 100% cotton and throws, cushions and hot water bottle covers are all hand knitted.
The kitchen is well equipped for the keen cook and includes a selection of organic spices, tea, olive oil and locally sourced coffee. The cleaning products and toiletries are organic and natural.
There are home made biscuits and a chilled bottle of fizz awaiting your arrival.
In the garden there is a cast iron Chimnea that is also a BBQ and a pizza oven so you can be cosy in the evenings sitting at the waters edge.
There is a table and chairs on the covered verandah overlooking the wildflower garden for al fresco dining.
Nestled at the bottom of the garden is a Summerhouse complete with art materials, books, games and a radio.

Location
If you can bear to venture out and leave this chill out zone then you will find the small fishing town of Eyemouth 4 miles away, over the Border the historic town of Berwick upon Tweed has a variety of attractions on offer.
Dunbar is a 30 minute drive North and it’s just an hour by car to Edinburgh or a little longer on the excellent local bus service.
There are great local walks and quiet lanes to cycle and explore all around Pine Lodge.
