Pease is a stunning sandy beach with a great wall of Old Red Devonian sandstone which is just one of the Berwickshire Coast’s great geological features! The perfect sandy beach, Pease Bay, is conveniently located on Pease Bay Leisure Park with a restaurant, bar and entertainment for all the family. The contrast of the red rock and white sand makes the bay quite a sight! Why not try surfing or just relax on the beach. As part of the Berwickshire Coast, there are so many sights to see within a very short distance!
Pease Dean Wildlife Reserve is not far from the beach along with the Pease Bridge which was the oldest bridge in the world at the time it was built.
Pease Bay was chosen as one of The Guardian’s Top 10 of the Best Surfing Beaches in the UK. Lessons are available with St Vedas Surf Shop in Coldingham for £35 for 2 hours for beginners and boards are available for hire too for those ready to go our on their own.
