2020 is the 40th Anniversary of the National Trust for Scotland acquiring St Abb’s Head in order to protect it in perpetuity for the Nation. 2020 also happens to be The Year of Scotland’s Coast and Waters. To mark such a momentous ocassion, the NTS Rangers will be running a year-long programme of events to celebrate all that is special about the reserve.
To kick things off, Liza Cole, Senior Ranger, will be giving an illustrated talk about the natural and cultural heritage of the reserve and the work the Rangers carry out to protect it.
Doors open 6:45 pm for a 7 pm start. Entry £5 waged, £3 children/unwaged. The Old School Cafe will be open from 5pm serving Fish & Chips and other refreshments if you fancy this before the talk (ring 018907 71413 to book), and there will be a comfort break and a chance to top up your drinks mid way through the talk.
